Dr. Randall Krawcheck - Surgical and Critical Care Expert

Dr. Randall Krawcheck is a double board-certified general surgeon and surgical intensivist with two decades of clinical experience. A fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Chest Physicians, Dr. Randall Krawcheck has enjoyed a career in trauma, critical care, and surgical education. His dedication to the field has been evident through roles with Veterans Affairs Medical Centers, academic institutions, and regional health systems across the southeastern United States.

Dr. Randall Krawcheck began his surgical career in Richmond, Virginia, at the Hunter McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he served from 2006 to 2014. During this time, he held the roles of general surgeon and director of the surgical intensive care unit (SICU). He became the lead general surgeon for the Wounded Warrior Battalion, serving U.S. military personnel in need of complex trauma care. Concurrently, he was appointed as a professor of surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, where he educated and mentored future generations of surgeons while advancing best practices in trauma and critical care.

In 2020, Dr. Krawcheck became a physician at Piedmont Columbus Regional. In this role, he led physicians in the ICU and achieved 94 percent diagnosis accuracy on admission.
